Three of the matches were extremely close this week, but Monopoly, Chess, and Clue were able to pull through to secure spots in the Final Four. Scrabble, on the other hand, crushed its opponent and walked away with no more than an apology. Check out the Final Four below and vote for your favorites. What is the Most Awesome Board Game?

All the top seeds were able to pull through in the Sweet Sixteen except The Game of Life. Congrats to Apples to Apples for surviving another week. The match between Sorry! and Yahtzee was close, but Sorry! pulled through in the end (sorry, Yahtzee…) Check out the Elite Eight below and vote for your favorites. Awesome Board Game Bracket – Seeding Poll

We finished up our bracket of Awesome TV Families , and now we head to another form of entertainment – the board game! For our fourth bracket at Awesomeopolis, we want to know “What is the Most Awesome Board Game?”

Below you’ll find a list of board games that were selected based on the suggestions from this post and some of our own favorites. Not all of these board games, however, are worthy of making it to the bracket! We’re conducting a seeding poll, where the top 16 board games will be ranked by votes for head-to-head match ups through September and October.

After it’s all said and done, we’ll be sending a “Certificate of Awesome” to the company that makes the winning board game.

Awesome TV Family Bracket Championship – Simpsons vs Connors

Thanks to everyone for voting in our seeding poll, Sweet Sixteen, Elite Eight, and Final Four!

The Simpsons and the Connors crushed their competition in the Final Four, and now they’re competing for the top spot as Most Awesome TV Family. It wasn’t an easy path to the Championship Round for these two families. The Simpsons beat out the Bartowskis, the Summers, and the Mars families, and the Connors beat the Gilmores, the Winchesters, and the Bluths! So who will it be – the animated family that has twenty seasons under its belt, or the family who was canceled after only two seasons? Luckily, resume length does not equate awesomeness here in Awesomeopolis. Tell us who YOU think is the most awesome TV family!

Thanks to everyone for voting in our seeding poll, Sweet Sixteen, and Elite Eight!

Looks like some of our top contenders were knocked out this past week. The Summers and the Tams put up a good fight, but in the end, the Simpsons and the Bluths were able to secure a win. The Mars and the Connors were able to smash their competition during the Elite Eight – let’s see if they can do it again. We have another interesting week of match-ups ahead! Awesome TV Family Bracket – Elite Eight

Thanks to everyone for voting in our seeding poll and our Sweet Sixteen!

Looks like our top six seeds are still alive! Big wins all around for our competitors after the first round. It was a close competition between The Bluths and The Adamas, but in the end, the dysfunctional family we all love beat the Commander and his son. Two huge upsets for the ladies from Gilmore Girls by the Connor family, and for the Bartowski family by the only animated family in our bracket. This week’s match-ups will be very interesting to see!
