Awesome TV Family Bracket Championship – Simpsons vs Connors

Thanks to everyone for voting in our seeding poll, Sweet Sixteen, Elite Eight, and Final Four!

The Simpsons and the Connors crushed their competition in the Final Four, and now they’re competing for the top spot as Most Awesome TV Family. It wasn’t an easy path to the Championship Round for these two families. The Simpsons beat out the Bartowskis, the Summers, and the Mars families, and the Connors beat the Gilmores, the Winchesters, and the Bluths! So who will it be – the animated family that has twenty seasons under its belt, or the family who was canceled after only two seasons? Luckily, resume length does not equate awesomeness here in Awesomeopolis. Tell us who YOU think is the most awesome TV family!

Here’s the schedule:
Seeding Poll (Selection of Top 16) – July 9 to 12
Sweet Sixteen – July 13 to 18
Elite Eight – July 20 to 25
Final Four – July 27 to August 1
Awesome Championship – August 3 to 8

Voting for each round will end at 11:59pm EST of the final day.

After it’s all said and done, we’ll be sending a “Certificate of Awesome” to the actors that play the characters in the family.

    Looking forward to this further strenghening our position. We need season 3 of TSCC!
    Simpsons didn’t get cancelled, and probably will not for a long time.

    The Simpsons are cool for sure. I mean, they haven’t aged in 20 years.

    BUT the Connors are by far the most awesome family on Television. A fugitive mother, a son fated to save the entire human race, a cyborg sister, and an uncle from the future… seriously, that’s awesome!!

    The Connors are the most awesome family. What other single parent family struggles with all the normal family issues and oh by the way, are trying to save the world as we know it.

    Wow, I wouldn’t have thought that the Connors would be dominating like this. Then again, when you have
    - the mother of all destiny
    - the future leader of mankind
    - a PTSD’d uncle from the future
    - a cyborg sister…

    I am also a great fan of the Simpsons, but this time I have voted for T:SCC. I am from Germany and I also want to have Season 3 of T:SCC.
    The Simpsons have already more than 3 Seasons :) (more than 10 I think actually ?-) ) so to all Simpsons fans out there: Help us to support Terminator – The Sarah Connor Chronicles. My hope is, that some influential man (or woman of course :) ) hears the voice of the T:SCC fans and brings back the show.

    I love the Simpsons, but TSCC could use any type of positiveness towards them, especially after getting axed by FOX. The Simpsons are and will always be safe on FOX.

    As you know, FOX cancelled «Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles» after the 2nd season. This decision is made despite the ending with an extreme cliffhanger. The worldwide Fandom (Resistance) now fights for bringing it back. We’ve started several campaigns for this. One of our actions is a weekly meeting called TSCC Global Resistance Rally.
