I have a bad habit of buying books and then not reading half of what I buy, so I started visiting the free public library to save some cash and bookshelf space. I stumbled across this Secondhand Book Club the other day and thought it was such a fantastic idea. The books are chosen monthly by the book club founders, and there’s only one rule: “you must buy your book secondhand, buy an e-book, or check it out at your local library, saving our environment is just as important as a good book!” I love it! Think of all the happy trees and your happy bank account. Speaking of saving cash, click here to read about how Congressman Jason Chaffetz from Utah is saving $1,500/month by sleeping on a cot in his D.C. office. Now that’s cutting costs! Maybe the good people over at Aerobed could send over a comfy cot replacement. The My Comfort Raised looks comfy to me!
